  • Yamanaka lacquerware is a traditional craft of the Isikawa Prefecture. The Yamanaka lacquerware can be used for almost anything, from serving hors d'oeuvres, to entrees, to something as casual as sandwiches, and still be an appropriately elegant piece to show hospitality.

Please note that the lacquer is an exquisite and traditional piece, and should best be handled carefully to endure a long-lasting life.

Do not wash with detergent; it can be washed in the dishwasher or immersed in water for a length of time, and should be dried well soon after.
